FFP1000 Intro to Fire Science
Intro to Fire Science satisfies the pre-requisite requirement for the Firefighter Minimum Standards Program and for the Fire Science Associate’s Degree at some Florida colleges. This course has been approved by the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training.

Emergency Medical Responder
Emergency Medical Responder/First Responders is a pre-requisite course for the Fire Fighter Minimum Standards Program and a requirement to take the State of Florida Firefighter Certification Examination. Students will earn their BLS certification through the American Red Cross (includes CPR).
Required Materials: Emergency Medical Response digital textbook included with course purchase, analog watch, stethoscope.
