Florida Fire Office 3 Requirements
To qualify for certification as a Fire Officer III, here are some of the state requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Fire Officer.
- Complete the Fire Officer III Curriculum. (see below)
- Submit “Application for Fire Officer III Certification”, on FCDICE/FireTRAQ online.
- Pass the Fire Officer III Exam with a score of 70% or higher.

45 Hour Course (traditional/instructor-led).
