BFST/ATPC3780 Analytical Approaches to Public Fire Protection is a 45 hour traditional/instructor-led course. This course satisfies part of the requirement for Fire Officer III and Fire Code Administrator certification. This course also provides 60-hours, or CEUs, towards Fire Safety Inspector, Fire Code Administrator and Fire Instructor I, II, and III certificate renewal.

Course Description:
This course examines the tools and techniques of rational decision making in fire and emergency services agencies, including data collection, statistics, probability, decision analysis, utility modeling, resource allocation, and cost-benefit analysis.
