BFST/ATPC407 Arson Investigation is a 45 hour traditional/instructor-led course. This course satisfies part of the requirement for Fire Investigator certification. This course also provides 45-hours, or CEUs, towards Fire Inspector I, Fire Code Administrator and Fire Instructor I, II, and III certificate renewal.

This course stresses effective crime scene work relative to Fire Investigation. Evidence preservation and collection, scene documentation, and investigator safety are main topics.
