BFST/ATPC1540 Private Fire Protection Systems I is a 45 Hour, traditional/instructor-led course. This course satisfies part of the requirement for Fire Inspector 1 as well as Fire Officer 2. This course also provides 45-hours, or CEU’s, towards Fire Inspector I, and Instructor I, II, II certificate renewal.
Private Fire Protection Systems I Course Description:
This is a study of private fire protection and detection systems such as sprinkler and standpipe systems, chemical extinguishing systems, and detection systems and devices. Each system is discussed as to its need, construction, preventative maintenance and individual uses.
