RN9896 Fire Safety Inspector NFPA 1 and 101 is an 8 Hour/CEUs in-person seminar. This course also provides 8-hours, or CEU’s, towards Florida Fire Code Administrator, Fire Safety Inspector Levels 1, 2, 3, and Fire Instructor Levels 1, 2, 3 certificate renewal.
Seminar Description:
The purpose of this course is to familiarize students or current inspectors with the Florida Fire Prevention Code which includes NFPA 1 and 101. Students will learn how to research the codes and apply them to inspection activities. Participants will review and calculate occupant loads and learn to navigate the code book.
In addition, this course includes a focused review to help prepare students for the BORA exam, which is required for inspectors seeking to work in Broward County as certified fire safety inspectors.
