BFST/ATPC2541 Private Fire Protection Systems 2 is a 45 hour, traditional/instructor-led course. This course satisfies part of the requirement for Fire Inspector 2 certification. This course also provides 45-hours, or CEUs, towards Fire Inspector I and II, Fire Instructor I, II, and III, and Fire Code Administrator certificate renewal.

Course Description:
This is a study of private fire protection and detection systems such as extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, chemical extinguishing systems, detection and alarm systems and devices, and newer systems available. Each system is discussed as to its need, construction, how it works, and individual uses.
