Florida Fire Instructor 3 Requirements
For certification as a Fire Instructor 3 in the State of Florida, these are some of the state requirements:
- Have a minimum of six-years’ experience as a regular member of an organized fire department.
- Successful completion of the required coursework. (see courses below).
- Documentation of having earned an Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Submit the Fire Instructor 3 Application for Certification on FCDICE/FireTRAQ online.
- Successfully complete the Instructor 3 State Written Examination with a score of 70% or greater.
