BFST/ATPC2770 Ethical and Legal Issues for the Fire Service is a 45 hour in-person course. This course satisfies part of the requirement for Fire Inspector 2, Fire Officer 3, and Fire Code Administrator certification. This course also provides 45-hours, or CEUs, towards Fire Inspector I and II, Fire Instructor I, II, and III, and Fire Code Administrator certificate renewal.

This course deals with the entire spectrum of issues facing today’s fire service leaders.  Topics include; labor relations, human rights and diversity, conflicts of interest and frameworks for ethical decision making are used.
