Fire Alarm Systems: Addressing False Alarms, System Resets, and Runner Service

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Fire Alarms account for the majority of non-EMS related calls that firefighters encounter every shift. A working knowledge of the basic functions and operations of a fire alarm system can help during emergency and non-emergency calls.
This 4 hour session will provide firefighters and fire officers with a comprehensive understanding of fire alarm systems, including the identification and management of false alarms, system reset procedures, and when to call for runner service.
By the end of this course, participants will have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage fire alarm systems, including addressing false alarms, performing system resets, and engaging runner service for technical support.
