Florida Fire Office 3 Requirements

To qualify for certification as a Fire Officer III, here are some of the state requirements:

•  5 years of experience as a Fire Officer.
• Complete the Fire Officer III Curriculum. At this time, Embers Edge offers 1 of the 3 courses needed to meet the curriculum requirement. Please see below.
• Submit “Application for Fire Officer III Certification”, on FCDICE online.
• Pass the Fire Officer III Exam with a score of 70% or higher.
