Are Embers Edge courses accredited?

Yes. Our courses are accredited by Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training, FCDICE.

How do I enroll for courses?

Courses can be purchased as individual classes or as a series.

Enrolling for a course is simple!

1. Visit the Fire Courses tab to select the desired course.

2. Add to Cart and follow directions to Enroll.

3. Once enrolled visit the My Account page to view all of your courses.

How do I register for in-person courses?

You can view our in-person schedule here.

Once you have purchased the course, visit the My Account page to view the in-person course.

There will be a registration link to reserve a seat for your course.

Are there discounts for registering for multiple classes?

Yes. Classes that are offered as a series will be bundled at a discounted price.

What if I only need one class of the Inspector Series/bundle?

Courses can be purchased as individual classes or as a series. If only one class is needed, you can purchase that course individually. To do so, simply search and select the course in the Fire Courses tab, and Enroll.

When do my courses start?

Online courses are completely self-paced. They can be taken at anytime and from anywhere.
Traditional (in-person) courses are scheduled throughout the year. View in-person schedule here.

How much time do I have to complete my course?

Courses should be completed within 30 days of enrollment.
Please send us an email should you need an extension.

Is there a textbook required?

Most courses require a textbook. Textbooks are not included in the course price and need to be purchased separately. Textbook details will be found on the course description for every course.

What is the refund policy?

We do not accept refunds or returns. Please contact us with any concerns or inquiries you may have.

How do I get an FCDICE number from the State of Florida?

To receive an FCDICE number, please visit the Florida State Fire Marshal’s website and click “Create New Account.” Once you have created your account, click on “Customize,” and then click “My Profile.” The number will be listed as your Student ID.
